One of the Tharu community members living in Dallas, Texas, Rajmani Chaudhary (originally from Chitwan Nepal) died suddenly due to a medical episode in 2017. At that sad and difficult time, TFA collected funds to cover Mr. Chaudhary’s funeral expenses and also to provide moral support to his surviving family members. Many of the community members came forward and contributed for this cause. A total of $2062.87 was collected and handed over to his family.
