Tharus and Friends Association (TFA) is pleased to announce the recipients of the annual TFA Scholarships Awards for 2022-2023. Twenty-one (21) applicants will be receiving scholarships from TFA this year There are 7 scholarship recipients from bachelor’s degree, 10 from 10+2, and 4 applicants will be awarded the Named Scholarships. Scholarship recipients pursuing their bachelor’s degree will be awarded NRs. 26,500 whereas those in High School will be awarded NRs. 25,500. Named scholarship recipients will be awarded NRs. 36,000 to defray the cost of their education.
There are 17 general scholarships and 4 Named Scholarships. TFA will be disbursing NRs. 584,000 to cover the cost of all the scholarships this year. Congratulations to all the scholarship recipients. TFA received many scholarship applications from students studying in School (1-10 grades), high school (10+2), and college (Bachelor) from across Nepal. In selecting the award winners, the scholarship committee paid special attention to their academic performance records and their financial need to pursue further education. TFA is committed to providing scholarships to intelligent and financially weak applicants from Tharu Community in Nepal.
These annual scholarships are made possible with donations from members and well-wishers of TFA. TFA would like to express its sincere gratitude to all those who have
