Scholarship Program – Tharus and Friends Association

Tharus and Friends Association (TFA) initiated scholarship program since its inception. TFA has been providing scholarships to academically intelligent but financially weak students in Nepal. The amount for the scholarship depends primarily on the availability of scholarship fund . From 2009 to 2024, TFA has provided NRs 3,765,800 to 156 students. TFA sincerely expresses its gratitude to all donors. TFA has provided 138 general scholarships and 18 named scholarships.

Goals and Objectives:

To promote educational awareness and excellence within the Tharu community.
To encourage Tharu youths to pursue higher education.
To provide financial support to socially deprived, poor, and intelligent Tharu students.
To prepare academically competent citizen to help empower the community and the nation.
