Awareness Programs and Distribution of Essential Supplies

Tharu Mahila Sabha (TMS) actively responded to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Lahan area of Siraha district. As part of their efforts, TMS conducted a series of awareness programs aimed at educating local residents about preventive measures and the importance of personal hygiene during the health crisis. In addition to spreading awareness, TMS distributed hand sanitizers and face masks to each family in the community, helping to reduce the risk of infection and improve overall safety.

Financial Assistance to Affected Families in Siraha

Recognizing the severe impact of COVID-19 on certain households, TMS provided financial support to the most vulnerable. A sum of NRs. 25,000 was distributed equally among five families that were badly affected by the pandemic, offering much-needed relief during a difficult period.

Similar Relief Efforts in Bara District

The organization extended its support beyond Siraha district by organizing a similar event in Bara district. Here, TMS again distributed NRs. 25,000 in cash, equally divided among five families who had been severely impacted by COVID-19, demonstrating their commitment to aiding those most in need across multiple regions.
